"Carat weight" simply refers to the weight of the stone. 100 points equals 1 carat. Therefore, 75 points equals 3/4 carat, 50 points equals 1/2 carat, 33 points equals 1/3 carat, and 25 points equals how much??? That''s right, 1/4 carat.
